Born in Albany with deep family roots in Southwest Georgia, Justin Atkins is the founder of Elysium Meridian.

He founded South West Georgia Homecare after growing up alongside a brother with cerebral palsy and seeing his mother struggle to find reliable caregivers and clear guidance about available resources. That experience shapes the family-centered, community-first outlook of Elysium Meridian.

South West Georgia Homecare remains a separate company. Its state license is pending and its planned transfer to Elysium Meridian has not been completed.
